We are extremely proud to announce that Tabley House Nursing Home has recently been rated the top care home in Cheshire on the care search and review website, carehome.co.uk. The website lists 243 care homes in the Cheshire area.
Our residents have been collectively designing a collage for Remembrance Day over the past three months. All of us at Tupwood Gate have been working hard to ensure that Remembrance Day is celebrated well to show our respect and gratitude to those who served during the wars.
Residents enjoyed an afternoon of acoustic music from a familiar face. Anthony Castleman has performed at Tupwood Gate on more than one occasion and will be returning in the New Year.
Last week the residents enjoyed the company of some furry friends bought in by Fiona’s farm therapy. They were able to have a cuddle and stroke lots of different animals.
On Wednesday our residents enjoyed a calming afternoon of beautiful harp music. Everyone sung along to the well-known pieces, such as ‘Over the rainbow’ and ‘Danny Boy'.
Last week our residents enjoyed the talents of Peter Donegan. Peter is Lonnie Donegan’s son, and Peter played a couple of his dad’s songs.
